I’m a wife to the most amazing husband on the planet and mama bear to a sweet-as-sugar little girl. Both of these humans bring tons of joy to my life! I’m not shy, but incredibly introverted. That’s surprising to most folks since I sing and lead worship at my congregation. I’m definitely a “let’s-stay-in” person. This socially awkward mama loves her fuzzy slippers and movie nights. I’ve got rhythm, but it doesn’t trickle down to my body, so I guess you could say I’m challenged in the “bust-a-move” department. But I’m trying, dang it.
After years of struggling with debilitating health problems including fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, anxiety, and depression, I became a self-proclaimed “professional researcher” of all things related to natural health and nutrition. While this season of my life was extremely difficult, I wouldn’t trade it for anything because it taught me the importance of healing my body from the inside out and it took me to another level in my relationship with God. He designed our bodies (His job) to work when we give them what they need (our job).
