Fortunately, there several essential oils for low energy that may provide you with a natural energy boost. The food you eat and your lifestyle choices can play a significant role in your energy levels. However, essential oils can serve as a tool to help boost energy. Today I want to share with you the ways in which essential oils may help to increase your energy and focus.

Essential Oils for Low Energy

The following essential oils may help to boost energy and support health:

Peppermint Essential Oil Benefits

Peppermint Essential Oil may help to alleviate stomach discomfort, freshen breath, improve mental focus, relieve head and neck tension, and boost energy. Due to its benefits, I have found peppermint essential oil to be great for a quick pick-me-up. I simply place a drop or two in my hands, cup my hands over my nose, and inhale. It’s an instant energy boost!

Basil Essential Oil Benefits

According to Organic Facts, Basil Essential Oil may improve mental fatigue, melancholy, and sad and anxious feelings. Due to the calming nature of basil essential oil, it is widely used in aromatherapy. Regularly using this essential oil may provides mental strength and clarity. Organic Facts, organicfacts.net

Lemongrass Essential Oil Benefits

Lemongrass Essential Oil may help reduce feelings of stress and drowsiness. Because of its amazing benefits, I enjoy using lemongrass essential oils as it uplifts my mood and smells amazing. A few drops in my diffuser is all I need to start feeling awake and alert.

How to Use Essential Oils for Low Energy

Add several drops of essential oil to a diffuser and enjoy the aromatic benefits.

Place several drops of essential oil to a warm bath and enjoy.

Inhale directly from the bottle.

Apply oil to hands and inhale.

Blend one part essential oil (oils discussed in this article) to one part carrier oil and apply to sore muscles and joints. Mixture may also be applied to the back and to the feet. You may use the carrier oil of your choice, such as almond oil, coconut oil, or jojoba oil (Modern Essentials, 2014).

A Word About the Safety of Essential Oils for Low Energy

As I discussed, there are several essential oils for low energy. Therefore, when used correctly, essential oils can be a great tool to boost energy. When using essential oils, it is imperative for you to understand that all oils are not created equal. Please be sure that you purchase quality essential oils that are certified pure from a reputable source. I encourage you to purchase essential oils with caution as many oils found in stores and online are filled with cheap filler oils and some are even toxic. Therefore, please do your homework before using any essential oil brand. All essential oils are not intended to be used internally and some may cause sun sensitivity.
