February 4, 2016 by Sunny Fit Life

paleo crock pot pineapple chicken--easy gluten free grain free recipe!

Paleo Crock Pot Pineapple Chicken

This Paleo Crock Pot Pineapple Chicken recipe is perfect for people who are on the go and want to fuel their bodies with real food. This recipe uses just a handful of ingredients that combine to create lots of flavor and nutrition. Coconut aminos are used in the place of soy sauce in order to keep this recipe gluten free. Pineapple juice and chunks give this savory chicken dish a hint of sweetness.

Save Time and Eat Health With the Help of Your Slow Cooker

Slow cookers (or Crock Pots) are the perfect solution for busy people who want to eat healthy food. Lack of time/busyness is one of the top reasons that people turn to processed convenience foods. Slow cookers allow you to cook real-food ingredients while you live your life. There’s nothing like coming home to a hot and healthy meal after a long day. To save even more time, combine the ingredients in the pot the night before you plan to prepare this recipe and refrigerate so that you can have everything ready to go the next morning. This strategy works well with many slow cooker recipes.

Benefits of Pineapple

According to The World’s Healthiest Foods, Pineapple possesses many health benefits including:

  • Anti-Inflammatory and Digestive Benefits
  • High Levels of Anti-Oxidants
  • Immune Support
  • Protection Against Macular Degeneration (www.whfoods.com)

This Paleo Crock Pot Pineapple Chicken recipe is grain free, gluten free, void of processed ingredients, and full of flavor! Serve with sauteed vegetables or a green salad for a filling and nutritious meal.
